Preach!
Very good vid; it has helped to shed some light on what is going on in the voudu community.
Bless you for the truth.
“People who are…going to serve their community and going to fulfill the role of Houngan or Mambo” Exactly! So many people want the Asson just so they can do spiritual work or have the title. A Houngan or Mambo is a spiritual liaison who serves the community. Thank you so much for speaking up about this. So proud to be a member of this spiritual family!
Very nicely stated, truth, truth, truth! Spiritually this is the equivalent to cultural misappropriation.
Blessings
Tante Kelley
thank you 🙂
listening now, and you go! 🙂
Ayi bo bo!
Question. I been reading up on rada lwa legba and some sites say his color is red and white and others.say purple and gold. Some say give him rum and some say vodka. I getting confused. Why such a difference? if I was serving the wrong legba how do I stop and go to the legba of my choice without being punished? for example if one was serving oshun but ment to serve erzilie can I just give that oshun shrine to erzulie or what to do with the shrine?
Hello,
You can not just give one Shrine which has already been dedicated to another Spirit. There is a process. I would suggest a consultation to see which is the proper Legba you should be serving and how. Rada Legba is Purple and Gold as well as brown. During a consultation, we can align you on how to properly work with Legba.
